On 21 December 2022, Crédit Populaire d'Algérie (CPA) signed agreements with two takaful insurance companies.
The first partnership, concluded between the CPA and El-Djazaïr El- Moutahida Family Takaful pertains to the coverage of financing intended for individuals.
The second agreement, signed with El-Djazaïr Takaful, concerns the coverage of financing intended for companies.
With this initiative, the public bank aims to develop its Islamic finance activities, notably through the distribution of takaful insurance [4] products through its entire national network.
