Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has published its 12th Risk Barometer. This latest edition was based on data collected from 2 700 experts in 94 countries.
Cyberattacks [4] and business interruption are the most prevalent concerns for companies in 2023. Both risks received the same number of votes (34%).
Macroeconomic developments such as inflation and financial market volatility climbed up from 10th to 3rd place in the ranking.
Energy crises and legislative and regulatory changes figure in fourth and fifth place respectively.
In 2023, pandemic risks have moved out of the top 10 and into 13th place, thanks to the lifting of most health restrictions.
