Two new appointments within Misr Insurance Holding Company

The Egyptian government has announced two appointments within the State-owned Misr Insurance Holding Company.

Assem Mohamed Fahmy Ragab becomes Non-Executive Chairman while Mohamed Mahran Taya is promoted CEO of the company.

A. Ragab enjoys more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector where he held various positions namely with QNB AlAhli and Crédit Agricole Egypt.

M. Taya began his professional career in 1988 with Misr Insurance in the aviation reinsurance department. He then worked for several other insurance companies including National Company For cooperative insurance, AIG Egypt, Zurich Insurance Middle East and Allianz Egypt.
