The Saudi Arabian Central Bank (SAMA) is introducing changes to the unified compulsory motor insurance policy. The modifications include coverage definitions and supporting documents, updated exceptions and certain recovery cases.
The amendments also provide the victim with a choice between cash compensation or repairs to the damaged vehicle.
This initiative is part of SAMA's efforts to facilitate motor claims procedures and to protect the rights of the parties to the insurance contract.
