S&P has judged that the excellent profile of MEICO and the good positioning of the company on the Jordanian market account for the “BBB” rating granted with stable outlook in terms of its financial and credit soundness. With a turnover of 31.1 million USD in 2008, MEICO becomes the fourth Jordanian insurer with a market share of 6.5%.
