SCOR Global P&C, the non-life branch of the SCOR group, has concluded its January 2023 renewals with a 12.1% decrease in premiums to 3.655 billion EUR (3.933 billion USD).
During the January renewals, the French reinsurer managed to reduce its exposure to natural catastrophe risks and to the most inflation-sensitive classes of business such as third party liability in the United States and the motor activity underwritten in proportional reinsurance.
The group is confident that the current property and liability reinsurance cycle will persist and is actively preparing for the next renewals (April, June and July 2023) in a promising market.
SCOR's annual results will be published on 2 March 2023.
