This situation is behind the bankruptcy of several companies among which United Insurance, Stallion, Kenya National Insurance and Lake Star. Several other companies are doomed to witness a similar fate if drastic measures are not taken. The reasons mentioned are: the high level of losses and indemnifications, insurance fraud and corporate mismanagement.
