Jan 2008 The German bankinsurer has started talks with its partner Koc Holding in an attempt to consolidate its presence in the Turkish market. Allianz' objective is twofold: raise its shareholding to 47,1% in the capital of the property insurer Cok Allianz Sigorta where it currently holds 37.1% and buy out 41% stakes from the life insurer Koc Allianz Hayet ve Emeklilik where it already has 38% shares.
