Atradius, the specialist of credit insurance has indicated that corporate payment practices vary considerably from country to country. With 19 days, Germany provides the shortest periods of settlement. In Italy, equal periods require 60 days. In France, the average period has been reduced to 33 days in 2010 against 46 days in 2009.
