Jan 2013 Lions Insurance company has doubled its after-tax result. The profit for the 2011/2012 fiscal year amounted to 9.7 million ETB (568 711 USD), that is, an increase of 132% in one year. A turnover’s growth of 123% and good underwriting results, with a 12.5% increase in non-life insurance, are the main factors behind this performance.
The 2011/2012 turnover amounts to 22 million ETB (1 289 860 USD).
