Jun 2012 The 29th General Arab Insurance Federation conference held in Marrakech from May 21 to 23, 2012, entitled “Insurance and the Arab world reform”, was characterized by a record attendance, with 2 000 professionals representing the sector, coming from the four corners of the world. The main recommendations emanating from the 29th edition pertained to the consolidation of the role of state federations and regulators, the establishment of pools in partnership with governments to cover political risks, digital innovation and revolution. The next conference is due in 2014 at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
