Scor has unveiled the results of its January 2012 renewals along with the first figures of 2011. For the previous year, the group has reported a turnover of 3.982 billion EUR (5.156 billion USD), an 8.8% increase over one year. The volume of the premiums renewed on January 1, 2012 is on a 13.9% rise in comparison with the same period of 2011. The most important increases came from non-life and third party liability treaties (+12%) and from specialized classes (+18%). Premiums growth is followed by a 2% tariff increase, weighted in average. Scor hopes to reach 4.5 billion EUR (5.3 billion USD) in non life insurance in 2012.
