The association of Kenyan insurers has welcomed with great satisfaction the entry into force of the new law governing the sector in 2006. According to business experts, the new regulatory provision should facilitate premium collection recovery thanks to namely the “Pay and Carry” principle.
Applied to motor and fire insurance, the “Pay and carry” principle implies the cash payment of the insurance premiums.
