Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance (QGIR) has concluded the year 2011 with a net profit of 46.7 million USD, a rise of 42.3% in comparison with 2010. Revenues from financial and real estate investments attained roughly 55 million USD. Likewise, for underwriting revenues which rose by 17.5% at 32 million USD. Gross premiums fell by 9.1% at 129.4 million USD.
