Death of Denis Kessler, Chairman of SCOR

During his professional career, D. Kessler held important positions in employers' and professional organizations. He joined SCOR on 4 November 2002 as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer where he turned the French group around in an awesome fashion for more than 20 years.

On 30 June 2021, he stepped down as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for personal reasons, yet retaining the chairmanship of the company.

The interim chairmanship of SCOR will be run by Augustin de Romanet, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, until the appointment of a new Chairman.
