Success of Continental Re development plan

Continental Re's growth plan is a success. The expansion strategy, which began four years ago, was primarily focused on the creation of subsidiaries and offices in key areas of the African continent.

The opening of a subsidiary in Gaborone (Botswana) is in line with this policy. Botswana, a stable country with a strong economy, is in the center of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
From this last base, the Nigerian reinsurer has privileged access to the markets of the region and hopes to benefit from the growth potential provided by the SADC.

In Africa, Continental Re is now operating from six regional hubs: Lagos (Nigeria), Douala (Cameroon), Abidjan (Cote d'Ivoire), Nairobi (Kenya), Tunis (Tunisia) and Gaborone (Botswana).
