AM Best confirms the rating granted to Kenya Re

AM Best has confirmed the financial soundness rating of B + and the bbb- credit rating granted to Kenya Re with stable outlook. According to the agency, the rating reflects a decent level of venture capital and a good portfolio profile. Kenya Re has a legal cession of 18% until 2015. Its turnover is made up of international acceptances (60%), predominantly African, and 40% of the legal cession (40%).
