Life insurers are reorganizing

Unlike previous years when the premiums volume and growth rate were the concern, most life insurers in the private sector today highlight results and profitability. According to Boston Consulting, the profitability of life insurers in India is crippled by several constraints including the use of inappropriate operational models, lack of cost control, the supply of products with low value for the insured and the average cost of large losses.
