Partnership between Peugeot and NuTonomy

Car maker Peugeot has joined American company NuTonomy to test autonomous cars in Singapore. This pilot project consists in installing software and technological gear manufactured by NuTonomy in Peugeot 3008 models.
The tests are scheduled to take place next September 2017.

NuTonomy is a start-up company set up in 2013 by university students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and by consultants operating for McKinsey. This young company has carried out several tests since late August 2016 on driverless cars in Singapore. NuTonomy has especially tested driverless taxi service with Renault Zoé, an electric car developed by the French manufacturer.
