Slowdown of concentration operations in 2016

The lack of political visibility prompted by the Brexit and the election of the new American administration are accounting for the major causes behind this regression.

Experts reiterate, however, that this stage of slowdown is only temporary with a new wave of consolidation waiting to erupt in the upcoming years. Exacerbated competition and rising protectionism are likely to encourage this race for size.
