70 000 women obtained a driving licence in Saudi Arabia

Since the ban was lifted on June 2018, Saudi Arabia issued 70 000 driving licences to women.

«Our analysis estimates that by 2020, three million women will be driving in Saudi Arabia» stated Hala Kudwah, consulting leader at PwC Saudi Arabia Financial Services, on March 2018.

The fact that Saudi’s women are keen on driving is greeting impacting the car sales and increasing the insurance premiums.
