ACE Gallagher acquires UPI Brokers

Bahraini insurance broker ACE Gallagher has acquired United Partners Insurance Brokers (UPI Brokers), a Kuwait-based insurance brokerage firm.

As part of the transaction, Ibrahim Arqawi, Managing Director of UPI Brokers, will join ACE Gallagher as Executive Director.

The acquisition forms part of ACE Gallagher’s strategy to strengthen and expand its presence across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets, with a particular focus on Kuwait.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
