Africa: limited access to Covid-19 vaccines

In Africa, only 26.04 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been distributed. The continent has only received 2% of all vaccines administered worldwide.

Morocco is the African country that has vaccinated its population the most, with 11.70 million doses administered as of 19 May 2021. Nigeria and Egypt come next with 1.84 and 1.37 million doses respectively.
