Allianz Africa has set foot in Kenya

Allianz Africa has set up an insurance subsidiary in Kenya. This country of 45 million people is undergoing growing interest on part of foreign investors, especially in the insurance area.

The Kenyan market has exhibited a premium volume of 1.765 billion USD in 2014. Allianz Africa, subsidiary of Allianz France, posted a turnover of 152 million EUR (184.7 million USD) on the continent in 2014.

The company is operational in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Republic of Central Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Madagascar, Mali, Republic of Congo, Senegal and Togo.
