Allianz encourages investment in start-ups

The German insurer Allianz is planning to create a fund by 2018 to finance innovative projects combining new technologies and insurance.

Named "Allianz X", this fund will be endowed with an investment capital of 430 million EUR (457 million USD) over the next four years.
