Arch Capital acquires Watford Holdings

The Bermudan group Arch Capital has acquired Watford Holdings for 622 million USD. The transaction is expected to be completed in H1 2021.

Based in Bermuda, Watford Holdings is an active stakeholder in property and casualty (P&C) insurance and reinsurance. It holds several entities including Watford Re, its main operating subsidiary.
