AXA to develop a pandemic insurance plan

Thomas Buberl, AXA’s CEO, has suggested making a pandemic insurance business plan.

This mutualised mechanism is inspired by the one implemented in cases of natural disasters. Such a plan might require the State and private insurers to make a contribution of 50% each.
