Euler Hermes, a new European rating agency

The European authorities have delivered a license to the insurer Euler Hermes to start its rating activities. Euler Hermes has nevertheless moderated this announcement saying that he does not want to make of it a strategic development axis. The insurer is planning to make the insured companies pay and not those asking for rating. Euler Hermes will not publish the ratings. Natixis, its competitor, had not long ago abandoned this idea.
