Global reinsurance, 2013 results

According to a study of the French association (Apref), the global reinsurance market has achieved in 2013, a turnover up by 4.35% to 240 billion USD.

The Top 3 reinsurers in terms of net written premiums are, as in 2012: Munich Re (36.8 billion USD)¹, Swiss Re (30.5 billion USD) and Hannover Re (17.1 billion USD).
