Karim Diarassouba reappointed Managing Director of CICA-RE

Karim Diarassouba has been reappointed Managing Director of the Joint Reinsurance Company of Member States of the Inter-African Conference for Insurance Markets (CICA-RE) for a second five-year term.

This decision was reached on the sidelines of the 158th session of the Board of Directors and the 43rd General Meeting of Shareholders of CICA-RE, held on 19 and 20 June 2025 in Bamako, Mali.

K. Diarassouba has a wealth of experience spanning 20 years in the finance and insurance sector, during which time he has held senior positions with several African organizations, including the General Directorate of the Treasury and Public Accounting (Côte d'Ivoire), African Risk Capacity (ARC) and the Regional Insurance Control Commission (CRCA).

From 2013 to 2021, he also served as Director of Insurance at Côte d'Ivoire's Ministry of Economy and Finance.
