Lloyd's of London to launch Miami office

Lloyd's of London is establishing an office in Miami. The new structure is scheduled to begin operations on 1 September 2024.

This expansion is part of the British giant's plan to strengthen its position in Latin America and the Caribbean. These two regions constitute a fast growing market for Lloyd's, accounting for 2.7 billion USD, or 4.6% of its 2023 turnover.

The inauguration of the new entity will enable the insurance and reinsurance group to spread its U.S. operations across four offices: New York, Miami, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and Toronto (Canada).
