QIIG secures license to launch reinsurance operations in India

Qatar Islamic Insurance Group (QIIG) has been granted a license by the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) to establish a reinsurance branch in India, based in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City).

The initiative forms part of the Qatari insurer’s strategy to drive growth and expand its international presence.
