SAMA penalizes 15 Saudi health insurers

SAMA through its Council of Cooperative Health Insurance has penalized 15 Saudi health insurance companies. These sanctions intervene for non-respect of the legislation in force.

The controlling institution has decreed a temporary cessation of activity for two companies. Five insurers were fined while eight others had seen their online underwritings suspended.
