SCG-Re held its first board of directors’ meeting

On its first board of directors’ meeting, the Société Commerciale Gabonaise de Réassurance (SCG-Re), has confirmed Edouard Pierre Valentin chairman and Gwodock Crépin general manager of the company.

On December 29, 2011, the Gabonese State has designated SCG-Re as the reinsurer in charge of managing the legal cession recently imposed on local insurers.

SCG-Re is dotted with a capital of 2 billion FCFA, 67.5% of which are held by the State and 32.5% by Gabonese insurers.

E.P. Valentin has spent the most of his career of insurer in Gabon.
