Tomorrow’s insurers faced with the disappearance of road accidents

A survey conducted by Celent has shown that technological evolution will make it possible to drastically reduce the number of road accidents in a few years time. While telematics, collision detection systems, automated traffic and robot cars are already available, the establishment of such systems in future locomotive will trigger a review of insurance needs. Insurers will, therefore, be faced with a substantial loss of their motor turnover.
