Misr Life Insurance-Takaful is hiring underwriting supervisor

The underwriting supervisor is responsible for running the daily business as usual for the underwriting department.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Manage and supervise the underwriting team.
• Maintain the department's SLAs.
• Works on timely processing of the new business pipeline.
• Assessing the assigning the risk class for new prospects
• Communicate with reinsurers to collect their approval for specific terms/FAC cases.
• Communicate underwriting requirements to the sales team.
• Identifying risk classes and attain proper underwriting for the identified risks.
• Prepare monthly reports for the underwriting department.

Qualifications:

• Relevant university education.
• Medical background is a must.
• Process orientation.
• Detail oriented.
• Self motivated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in life insurance.
• Takaful experience is a plus.
