Mapfre completes the sale of its activities in Indonesia

MapfreMapfre has obtained the approval of the relevant authorities for the sale of its activities in Indonesia. The Spanish insurer is thus finalizing the sale of its 62.33% stake in Asuransi Bina Dana Arta Tbk (ABDA) and the 51% stake it holds in MAPFRE ABDA Assistance. The transaction amounts to 62.9 million USD.

The buyer of these two stakes is Aseana Insurance, an insurance company based in Singapore and owned by the American investment fund Warburg Pincus.
