CICA-RE: 2022 results
The Compagnie Commune de Réassurance des Etats membres de la Conférence Interafricaine des Marchés d'Assurances (CICA-RE) has ended the 2022 financial year with a 10.4% increase in its turnover to 106 billion FCFA (172.5 million USD).
The net profit went up by 9.6% from 7.3 billion FCFA (12.6 million USD) on 31 December 2021 to 8 billion FCFA (13.02 million USD) a year later.
These results were unveiled at the company's 41st Annual General Meeting, held on 7 July 2023 in Lomé, Togo.
For the 2023 financial year, the Togolese reinsurer is expecting a turnover of 110 billion FCFA (184.5 million USD).
For the record, AM Best has assigned a "B+" rating to CICA-RE for its financial strength.
