According to sources familiar with the matter, Google has been granted in-principle approval for the creation of a syndicate with Lloyd's of London.
The digital giant is said to be in talks with the British insurance group and managing agent Apollo for the implementation of a captive syndicate.
Newly launched by Lloyd's, the captive syndicate is a type of syndicate created by a company that wishes to cover its own risks or those that it partially controls.
