12 companies rewarded by the Middle East Insurance Industry Awards
The 1st edition of the Middle East Insurance Industry Awards (MIIA) has given its result during the gala dinner of the MENA Rendez Vous in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
Co-organized by the Dubai International FInancial Centre and Middle East Insurance Review, the MIIA gave 14 awards to 13 winners.
Fareed Lutfi (Secretary general of the Emirates Insurance Association) is awarded the prize of the Personality of the year, while Qatar Islamic Insurance is named Takaful company of the year, in both "Life" and "Non-life" classes.
Other awards go notably to:
- MetLife: "Life insurance company of the year"
- AXA Gulf: "Genreal insurance company of the year"
- ARIG: "Reinsurance company of the year"
- Hannover ReTakaful: "Retakaful company of the year"
- Aon: "Broker of the year"
