18th FAIR conference in Harare
The 18th Conference of the Afro-Asian insurers and reinsurers Federation (FAIR) which had as a subject "To share the regional resources towards globalization: a strategy for the success" brought together in Harare at the end of September 400 participants from the two continents.
The debates related to the strategies to carry out to thwart local companies' lack of capacity and to face the fierce competition of the multinationals : increase of the companies' minimum capital, fusions and forming pools at the regional level to face the catastrophic and special risks.
