20%-increase of life & health premium fares in 2015

According to Ahmed Najib, managing director of Promise insurance Brokerage, a 20%-increase of life & health insurance fares is expected for 2015.

The forecasts are based on the entry into force, in 2015, of new laws aimed at modernising the sector, the upcoming implementation of e-insurance, as well as the removal of the ban on bancassurance activity till this year.

As a reminder, the life insurance market recorded a direct pemiums increase of 0.6% to 800 million USD in 2013.
