239.6 billion USD of values lost by European insurers

According to some financial sources, European insurers may have lost 200 billion euros in securities, (239.6 billion USD) in the course of the last three years. These losses are due mainly to the crash of stock exchange quotations, terrorist attacks and other disasters of climatic nature.
