The meeting resulted in the adoption of several resolutions, especially the one pertaining to establishment of a customer database and the creation of guarantees against cyber-crimes.

For the record, AIO was set up in 1972 in Douala (Cameroon). It is tasked with coaching the development of insurance markets in the continent. It accounts for nearly 330 member companies, from all African countries.
