ACE, decreasing result

The group has announced a net profit of 1.029 billion USD for the year 2005, that is, an 11% decrease in comparison with 2004. It is the high loss experience, especially the one related to the natural catastrophes in the Gulf of Mexico, that accounts for the shrinking results.
