ACE sets foot on the Tunisian market

ACE is getting settled in Tunis. The group has obtained authorization to operate on the local market where it will underwrite a wide range of facultative reinsurance risks.

The new branch will cover all Maghreb countries. ACE intends to provide an important logistical support to its partners, especially in the third party liability, energy and construction classes of business. The management of the regional office has been entrusted to Kamel Kaabi, a former executive in Tunis Re, Africa Re and AIG. The Tunis office is the 54^th regional entity created by the ACE group.
