Activa has acquired UGAR and LGV

The Cameroonian group Activa continues its expansion policy in Africa. It has become, as of July 1, 2013, the majority shareholder with over 60% stakes of two important companies of the Guinean market.

UGAR (Union Guinéenne d’Assurance et de Réassurance) is the first local non-life insurer with about 45% of market shares while LGV (La Guinéenne Vie) is the number one life insurer. Both companies have joined Globus network which already has 37 members.
