This program allows insurers and reinsurers to better address their exposure to earthquakes. The model analyses more than 500 000 events according to the uses of buildings, their structure, size and age. Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda are among the most vulnerable East African countries to earthquakes because of their position on the Great Rift Valley.
