African Insurance Awards, organised by Africa Re

Initiated by Africa Re, the "African Insurance Awards" ceremony , was held on May 25, 2015 in Tunis.

The three prizes scheduled were awarded as follows:

  • The "Insurance Company of the Year" was awarded to Misr Insurance, Egypt
  • The "CEO of the Year", went to Patrick Tumbo, CEO of Jubilee Insurance, Kenya
  • The "Innovation of the Year" was attributed to Mutual Benefits Assurance, Nigeria

Each of the three winners received an award worth 25 000 USD.

The "African Insurance Awards" ceremony organized by Africa Re took place on the sidelines of the 42nd Conference and General Assembly of the African Insurance Organisation (AIO), held from 24 to 27 of May 2015 in Tunis.
