AIG quits the Sri Lankan market

The American giant AIG announced its withdrawal from the insurance market in Sri Lanka. This decision is part of a policy of streamlining the group's activity. Management has determined that the services produced by its local subsidiary, which accounts for just 0.3% of the market share, no longer met the criteria. AIG was one of the 19 active non-life insurers in the country.
